Vending

Sometimes you may need to cancel a vend allocation — for example, if the user has taken too long to collect the item or the stock is needed more urgently elsewhere. To do this, simply follow the steps below.

If a user selects Asset Types that they do not have permissions to access via Access Groups, then a request will be sent to Location Administrators to either approve or reject the request for the Asset Type(s).

This process is helpful when you would like users to be able to see items that are available for vending, but you would like an administrator to approve the request before they can have access to it, this approval is for a one off request.

With the ONARKEN® Management Platform, arranging a vend for users to collect takes just a few clicks. Simply select a location, choose the Asset Types you want the user to collect, and then either share a link to their Vending Ticket or send them a one-time code.
 

Managing Vending Machines in ONARKEN® allows you to oversee and customise the operation of your vending machines. This ensures that you can view all transactions, manage stock, and set rules for different assets.

Required Permissions

To perform this action, your account must have the installations.add_admins permission. To remove locker admins, your account must have the installations.remove_admins permission.

Steps to Manage my Vending Assets

1. Log in to your ONARKEN account.
   Ensure you are using an account with the necessary permissions.
   
   

2. Access the Vending page.
   From the main menu, navigate to the Vending page.
   
   

3. Access the Vending Assets.
   From the current page, navigate to the Assets tab.
   
   1. Limit
   The vending limit allows you to set a cap on the amount of times a user can vend this specific item.
   
   2. Day Options
   The Day options settings allows you to set the time frame in which the limit on the cap of items can be vended.
   
   3. High Value
   Allows you to set this as a high value item inside of the vending machine

Once you have followed these steps, your Vending Machine Assets will have been updated and ready to use.
