In certain circumstances, you may need to disable a locker bay from normal service. Once a locker is marked as Out of Service, it can only be used for returning loans.
Required Permissions
To perform this action, your account must have the installations.disable_bays permission.
Steps to Disable a Locker Bay

Log in to your ONARKEN account.
Ensure you are logged in with an account that has the necessary permissions.

Navigate to the Smart Lockers page.
From the main menu, access theSmart Lockerspage.

Select the locker bay to disable.
Click on the specific locker bay you wish to mark asOut of Service.

Open the Options menu.
Within the locker bay interface, select theOptionsdropdown menu.

Disable the locker bay.
Click onDisable Lockerin the dropdown menu.

Provide a reason (optional).
You can optionally enter a reason for disabling the locker. This information can help other administrators understand why the locker is marked asOut of Service.
After completing these steps, the locker bay will only be usable for returning loans. It will remain in the Out of Service state even after a loan is returned.
