Managing an Asset Type allows you to customise the settings and properties for a specific asset type within ONARKEN®. This ensures that each asset type is properly defined and managed, enhancing overall tracking and reporting capabilities.
Required Permissions
To perform this action, your account must have the asset_types.edit permission.
Steps to edit an asset type

Log in to your ONARKEN account.
Ensure you are using an account with the necessary permissions. -
Access the Assets page.
From the main menu, navigate to theAssetspage. - Navigate to Asset Types Panel
Find the required Asset Type and select it to view. -
Locate the Options
To update the asset type name, select the Change Name button and update the Asset Type Name.
To update the asset type image, select the Change Image button and upload a new Image of the Asset Type.
To update the asset type category, select the Category button and select the required category. If the required category is not available. Click the New Category button and enter the Category name. Before selecting the new category from the options.
