My ONARKEN

My ONARKEN is a web application designed for individual locker users, providing a convenient platform to manage their accounts, make reservations, book lockers, and view general availability. It simplifies interactions with ONARKEN Smart Lockers by offering an intuitive and user-friendly experience, enabling users to perform all these actions seamlessly in one place.

  • How can a user book an asset?

    Users can pre-book an asset for a specific date and time using the My ONARKEN web application, ensuring availability when needed.

     

    Prerequisites

    1. Bookings Enabled: Ensure the Bookings feature has been enabled. Refer to the How to enable bookings? documentation for guidance.

    2. My ONARKEN Enabled: Confirm that the My ONARKEN web application is active. Refer to the How do I enable My ONARKEN? documentation for instructions.

     

    Permissions Required

    To make a booking, a user must:

    • Have the bookings.make permission.
    • Be assigned to an access group that includes at least one Smart Locker and Asset Type.

     

    Steps for Users to Make a Booking

    1. Log in to My ONARKEN.
      Users can log in by visiting their ONARKEN URL, e.g., my-instance.onarken.com.

    2. Navigate to the Book tab.
      Click the Book tab in the navigation menu.

    3. Choose a collection location.
      Select the location where the asset will be collected.

    4. Select an asset type.
      Choose an available asset type for the booking.

    5. Complete the booking.
      Enter the required date and time for the booking and confirm the selection.

    6. Collect the booked asset.
      At the specified time, a one-time code will be displayed to the user. They can use this code at the locker screen or scan their ID badge to collect the asset.

  • How can a user reserve an asset for themselves?

    There may be occasions where a user needs to ensure an asset is available for collection upon arrival at the lockers. This can be achieved through the Reservations feature in My ONARKEN.

    Prerequisites

    1. Reservations Enabled: Ensure that the Reservations feature has been enabled. Refer to the How do I enable Reservations? documentation.
    2. My ONARKEN Enabled: Confirm that the My ONARKEN web application is enabled. Refer to the How do I enable My ONARKEN? documentation.

  • How do I enable My ONARKEN?

    My ONARKEN is a web application designed for individual locker users, providing a convenient platform to manage accounts, make reservations, book lockers, and view general availability. It simplifies interactions with ONARKEN Smart Lockers by offering an intuitive and user-friendly experience, enabling users to perform these actions seamlessly in one place.

    Permissions required

    To enable the My ONARKEN application, you must have the general.miscellaneous permission.

     

    By default, My ONARKEN is not enabled. To activate it, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to the ONARKEN management platform.
      Use your administrator credentials to access the system.

    2. Access the Settings menu.
      From the main navigation menu, click Settings.

    3. Enable My ONARKEN.
      In the General Settings section, toggle the My ONARKEN switch to On.

    Once enabled, the My ONARKEN application will be accessible to your users by appending /my to your instance URL. For example: instance-name.onarken.com/my.
