New Features
Drop Off & Collection Reasons
The update allows you to create custom reasons to specify why assets are stored in your Smart Lockers. It’s common to have a variety of assets in your lockers for multiple purposes. For more information please read our Custom Asset Reasons in ONARKEN® documentation.
API deprecation notice
This update has come with a deprecation notice for the ONARKEN API, with the addition of reasons the transition_asset_to_status property when arranging a Drop Off or Swap has been depreciated we recommend you migrate over to the new reason_id functionality (please read API documentation for full details).
The transition_asset_to_status property will continue to work and will attempt to find a reason with a matching asset status however, this functionality could be removed in a future release.
Asset Management Improvements
We’ve made several updates to enhance your experience when managing assets in ONARKEN®:
Updated Default View
The default view in the Assets section now excludes any assets marked as End of Life. To view these, simply apply the relevant filter by status.
Improved Asset Deletion Workflow
When deleting an asset, you will now be prompted to choose whether to:
- Mark the asset as End of Life
- Permanently delete the asset
We strongly recommend only deleting assets if they were created in error. Deleting an asset permanently removes all associated transactional history. If an asset is no longer in active use, marking it as End of Life will hide it from the default view while retaining its historical data.
Change Asset Type
You can now update the Asset Type for an asset, provided it is not currently stored in a locker.
Changes
- Improved the handling of syncing Vending Machine Asset Types, now will correctly import shared products rather than duplicating
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue that would prevent CSV import from allowing multiple user imports
- Resolved an issue with Entra sync causing existing users to not always be found
