New Features
Vend Requests
You can now arrange vends directly from the ONARKEN® Management platform. Simply choose a location, select the Asset Types you wish to vend, and the system will generate a one-time code. This code can be shared with the user to complete the transaction.
If a user does not have permission to vend a particular Asset Type they’ve selected, the Location Administrator will be notified and given the opportunity to approve or reject the request.
It’s also possible to arrange vends for Asset Types that are currently out of stock. These requests will be added to a waiting list, and as soon as stock becomes available, the next user in the queue will be notified that it has been allocated to them.
Vending Ticket
When a vend has been arranged, the user will receive a link to their Vending Ticket. This ticket displays the live status of all Asset Types in the vend request, the one-time code and barcode, and an interactive map with directions to the pickup location.
New Asset Type Restriction Option
You can now disable ad-hoc vending at the Asset Type level. When this is applied, the product will not appear on the Vending Machine for general selection and will only be available via the vend request workflow. This provides greater control and is particularly useful for high-value or restricted Asset Types.
Google Map Integration
Locations in ONARKEN® now support Google Maps integration. You can search for physical places and display a map for that location, making it easier to share location details with your users and generate directions.
This functionality is already available in the new Vend Requests feature and will be rolled out across the rest of the ONARKEN® application soon.
Locker Software v1.13
As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility, we are pleased to announce the release of Locker Software version 1.13. This update introduces features designed to make the locker interface more accessible and user-friendly.
We have added a new accessibility bar at the bottom of the screen. This bar now houses the primary buttons for operating the locker user interface, providing a consistent and easily accessible control area.
We are committed to continually enhancing accessibility across our locker systems. If you have suggestions for further improvements, please contact our support team — your feedback is always valued.
In addition, we have introduced a new option in Screen Designs to hide the greeting message displayed on the Home Screen. This allows you to use a full-screen image or video to present information to your users without the greeting appearing over it.
Please note that locker software updates are not automatically pushed out, if you would like to benefit from the locker update please contact the LapSafe® support team.
