New Features
Paginated Smart Locker navigation
Pagination controls have been added with a limit of six installations per page. This reduces the amount of data displayed on screen at once, and makes it much easier to search for specific installations. This also improves loading times. A maximum of 6 installations can be displayed in a single page.
Filter and Search options on the smart locker page
Smart locker installations can be filtered by Location. The current displayed location is displayed in a subheading above the locker maps.
Simply select the location name from the drop-down and then only installations assigned to that location will be displayed.
Users can also search for locations by location or installation name.
Users will only see locations if there is an installation within that location they can view via their access group, or if they are a locker admin for an installation within that location.
Updated Locker Maps
Locker maps have been updated in order to comply with WCAG AA 2.1 colour contrast guidelines.
For the small locker map displays, we have increased the margin between the rendered locker bays to make each element more distinct. Some status colours have also been adjusted in both light and dark mode to improve readability and WCAG AA compliance.
As a result, for the full detail large locker map displays, we have stopped using coloured text to indicate locker status, and have moved to use a combination of a coloured light indicator and a separate text display.
The locker status colour codes are still the same as before, so please refer to the Locker Map colour key for more information.
We have also added flyout windows when you hover over a locker bay, to explain the status and functionality of the bay in more detail.
On these flyouts we display the following information:
- Locker number
- Link to the individual bay page
- Link to arrange collection of asset (if locker bay is a Drop-off/Collection bay and there is a collectable asset in the bay).
- Link to current loan on that bay
- Details of any assigned assets
- A list of bay features, which include:
- The usage type of the locker bay (I.e. if a bay is set up for loaning, drop-off & collection, hot locker etc.)
- Internal camera
- AI asset detection
- Data transfer
- If bay is enabled in loan pool
Some bay details are still displayed as icons on the detailed locker map, including the status of the lock, and what charge type the bay supports (e.g. Chargeline, Smartline).
We have also reduced visual clutter by removing terminal only tower units from the locker maps for legacy Diplomat and Consul installations with no locker bays on the screen terminal unit.
Updated Drop-off & Collection and Reservation UI
We have updated the UI for creating drop-off and collection transactions, and for reserving loanable assets. Additional information is now shown when creating a drop-off, collection or swap such as the location of the smart locker installation.
More information is now shown when selecting an asset to reserve, and you can hover over a locker bay with a reservable asset to see more information. Users can also choose between selecting an available locker on the locker map, or selecting an asset from a list.
New options for AI enabled lockers
Users now have additional options when dropping off, collecting or swapping assets at Sovran lockers with AI camera asset detection functionality.
When on the 'arrange' screen when an AI enabled bay has been selected, ONARKEN has three options for configuring AI Detection:
- Asset detection - this method enables the AI to check the asset loaded into the bay matches visual appearance of the item loaded into the locker bay.
- Presence only detection - this mode enables the AI to check if an asset has been placed into the bay, but not to check any details of the asset against the asset type or description.
- No detection - does not check for asset presence at all. Transaction will complete regardless AI results
This option is only configured for the individual transaction. Full AI asset detection will be re-enabled by default when the transaction is complete.
