Updated ONARKEN® Notifications
ONARKEN® notifications have been completely reworked into a more user friendly UI experience.
Notifications have now been split into three tabs: End User Notifications, Admin Notifications and Webhooks. We have also made it easier to configure activation of notification subscriptions.
Admin notification subscriptions have been updated and a new notification channel type has been added. Instead of creating a new admin notification instance, you create a notification channel. We now support sending admin notifications to Slack. The Microsoft Teams notifications have been updated to support image displays in the messages for AI lockers. New notifications have been added for all admin notification types.
Admin notifications for Microsoft Teams and Slack require webhook URLs to be set up, to read a full guide for this for both Microsoft Teams and Slack, we have created the following guides

Set up admin notifications with Microsoft Teams
- Note: If you have Microsoft Teams Admin notifications already set up with ONARKEN®, these will be disabled with this release. This is due to Microsoft removing support for Office 365 connectors with Teams. You will need to follow the linked guide to ensure you keep receiving ONARKEN® teams notifications.

New admin notifications
We have added new admin notifications for this release. They trigger for the following events:
- Drop off failed
- Collection failed
- Swap failed
New end user notifications
We have added new end user notifications for this release. They trigger for the following events:
- When a user fails to complete a drop off
- When a user fails to complete a collection
- When a user fails to complete a swap
- A message to the arranger when a drop off fails
- A message to the arranger when a collection fails
- A message to the arranger when a swap fails
These new notifications are sent via email.
Note: Apple Wallet Push notifications will be phased out with this release. Mobile Push notifications will now be sent through the MyONARKEN app, on both iOS and Android (releasing Q1 2026).
Webhook Events
We have updated our webhook notifications to support more message subscriptions. We have moved the Webhooks to the notifications tab (previously it was in the settings tab).
New Webhook events include:
- Drop off failed
- Drop off expired
- Drop off cancelled
- Collection failed
- Collection expired
- Collection cancelled
- Swap failed
- Swap expired
- Swap cancelled
- Installation Connected/Disconnected
- Door left open
- Bay quarantined
- Loan return failed
We now also display sample message payloads so you know what to expect when receiving our webhook messages. To see how to set up an integration with ONARKEN webhooks, view our guide here.

Last In Last Out Deployment Type for Envoy™
ONARKEN now supports deployment type settings for envoy. Locker administrators now have the ability to set 1 of 2 deployment types, for the Envoy™ smart locker to use:
- Sequential - This deployment type loans the assets out ordered by locker number. This was the deployment mode used by all Envoy™ lockers prior to this release, and is the default mode.
- Last In Last Out - Abbreviated to LILO, this new deployment type loans assets out ordered by how long they have been placed inside the locker bays.

Failed Drop Off / Collection Notifications
We have added new events for failed drop off, collections and swaps due to the incorrect asset being placed inside the locker. We have added the ability for end users, arrangers and administrators to receive notifications if this issue occurs, and the end users now have the means to retry the transaction again.
Drop Off / Collection Transaction manual completion
There are occasions where a manual completion of a Drop Off, Collection or Swap is needed due to either this has been completed manually by an admin at the lockers, or AI detection failed to correctly identify the correct asset.
We have added the ability for ONARKEN administrators to manually complete these transactions on the ONARKEN management portal.
For any active drop-off, collection or swap transaction, a complete button will be displayed above the one-time code.
When a transaction is manually completed, a message will be displayed in the audit log, with a timestamp of when the manual completion occurred.

- Fixed incorrect toast message displayed when you add an asset to a loan rule.
