Introduction
NOTE: This manual also covers ClassBuddy™ branded wall units.
Tools Required
- Corded or cordless power drill (hammer-action required for solid walls)
- Drill-bit to suit your fixing type (refer to manufacturer’s instructions)
- Pencil/Pen (to mark hole positions)
- Spirit level
- Hammer
- Screwdriver/Impact Driver
- Vacuum cleaner
Fixings Required (solid wall)
- 9 Screws 7.5mm x 60mm long
- 9 Wall Plugs 10mm x 50 mm long
Positioning the ChargeLite™ Wall
Decide on a suitable location for your ChargeLite™ Wall to be mounted.
Make sure the unit is at an acceptable user height. We recommend installing the ChargeLite™ Wall between a height of 800mm-1200mm.
Allow space above and below the wall unit for ventilation.
The unit must be fixed to a solid wall or directly to studs if the unit is being fitted to a non-solid wall.
Hollow wall or plaster board type fixings are not recommended.
Select suitable fixings for the wall that you are fixing to and ensure that you use a minimum of 9 of the possible 16 fixing positions available. Ensure as even distribution as possible.
Ensure that you check the wall prior to any drilling and fixing for electrical cables or other services that may be in the wall/void.
IMPORTANT: Two people are required to carry out the installation.

Installation Process

Stand the unit up
Once unpacked, stand the unit up and ensure you have a clear working space around all sides.

Open the doors
Open the left hand side door with the white key, and the right hand side door with the black key.

Unscrew holding nuts
On the bottom right hand side of the unit, there are two holding nuts that need to be unscrewed, these can be unscrewed by hand.
Once you have done this, lock the doors back up.

Unhook the Mounting Bracket
Unhook the mounting bracket by titling the ChargeLite™ Wall forward and pushing the mounting bracket down.

Level the Mounting Bracket
NOTE: You may need two people for this.
Hold the mounting bracket up against the wall with the bottom lip facing towards you.
Use a spirit level to make sure the bracket is level on the wall and ensure the hanging slots are at the top.

Mark drill holes
Use a pencil or marker to mark all the fixing holes on the wall, then remove the mounting bracket.

Drill holes
Drill holes for fixings in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The following instructions are for brick walls only.
- Ensure an even distribution of fixings.

Use a minimum of 9 fixings

Secure Mounting Bracket
Place the mounting bracket back onto the wall with the bottom lip facing towards you, and screw your fixings into place in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Hook the Wall Unit on to the mounting bracket
NOTE: Two people are required to lift the ChargeLite™ Wall.
Once the mounting bracket is secured lift the ChargeLite™ Wall into place.
There are six hooks along the sides that the unit slides onto.
Ensure that ChargeLite™ Wall is hooked on correctly and that the three lower studs are through the fixing holes before gently releasing the unit.

Secure in place
Once in place, open both doors again (Step 2) and screw the two holding nuts in onto the studs that you removed in Step 3.
Complete
Your new ChargeLite™ Wall should now be successfully mounted onto the wall and you are ready to load your cables and devices.
